Rapid Recovery Center to become Bridgemoor Transitional Care
AUSTIN, Texas – Rapid Recovery Center (RRC), a premier post-acute health care provider in Texas, today announced its new name, Bridgemoor Transitional Care. The company has locations in Round Rock, San Antonio, Fort Worth and Webster that are open and accepting patients.
Similar to RRC, Bridgemoor will provide personalized, cost-effective transitional care following a hospital visit that enables patients to regain their highest level of independence as quickly as possible. Bridgemoor’s model of care serves as a bridge between hospital and home, aiming to reduce the likelihood of a return to the hospital. This model preserves precious Medicare/insurance benefits through shorter lengths of stay, reducing the total cost of care as the patient recovers under the direction of a physician-led team.
The company is led by veteran health care executive Mark Fritz, president of Bridgemoor Transitional Care and former president of RRC Texas.
“We’re excited to begin this new chapter while continuing to provide exceptional rehabilitation and care to several communities across Texas,” Fritz said. “We run a model of care that is unique in U.S. health care. All parties win: the patient, the provider and the payer.”
Bridgemoor Transitional Care’s therapy capabilities include: physical, occupational and speech rehabilitation available onsite seven days a week; an in-house pharmacy dispensing system; dialysis coordination; electronic medical records; and other clinical support services. The centers accommodate patients in private suites with private bathrooms and also feature on-site hair salons and in-room and fine dining options prepared by an executive chef.
All Bridgemoor Transitional Care locations include full-time nurse practitioners to manage patient care, as well as an experienced medical director to oversee medical care and treatment with assistance from full-time RN supervisors available 24/7.
“Under the management of Bridgemoor Transitional Care, we’ll continue to work closely with local hospital systems, medical professionals and insurance providers to ensure that our patients have the immediate care they need to recover as soon as possible and return home to their daily lives,” Fritz said.
