Bridgemoor Fort Worth welcomes new executive director
Bridgemoor Transitional Care has announced Andrew Bruenderman as executive director of its Fort Worth facility, including Bridgemoor Assisted Living. In his new role, which began in April, Bruenderman oversees operations while working with residents, patients and their caregivers to help ensure the best possible outcomes.
Bruenderman brings more than a decade of health care experience to Bridgemoor. In his previous role with Nexion Health, he managed a 124-bed skilled nursing facility in North Richland Hills, Texas, and helped improve the facility's rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) from four stars to five stars. He cites Bridgemoor's award-winning use of technology and focus on customer service as key attributes that attracted him to the company, noting its meshing of analytics and data availability. He explains that an organization "can't manage what you don't measure."
A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Bruenderman attended the University of Kentucky, earning his bachelor's degree in finance and marketing. He also holds a master's degree in health care administration from the University of Kentucky College of Public Health. Bruenderman was inspired by his mother, who was a pediatric nurse, to work in the health care industry. His personal ties to patient care also extend to his home life—his wife is a geriatric nurse practitioner.
